A vacation from my "vacation"

As previously stated we were lucky enough to go to Disneyland this past weekend and in case you were wondering, yep, it's as good as it always has been. I don't know if Disneyland could ever get old...unless you worked there. It would probably get old then. Anyway, we met my 2 sisters and their fun little kids there and had a blast on Friday. We even got a group discount because we had 10 kids and 6 adults. We went on a whole lot of kid rides this time trying to accommodate the kiddos but I was ok with that. If you've never been to Disneyland at Christmas time GO! Go now!

At the next day we went to the Santa Monica beach. I'd like to think that fun times were had by all.

On a side note, we got a new computer and it is AMAZING! I just can't believe how fast it is...and how big our screen is. Oh the things I have been missing out on all this time!

Perhaps I spoke too soon?

So you know all of that about the most wonderful time of the year? Well I think I jinxed myself because after 6 years of working for the Univerisity of Phoenix I got laid off on Monday. I had a feeling that layoff's were coming but I didn't know if I would be effected and no matter if you see if coming or not you just can't prepare yourself for something like that. Needless to say I've been doing that for so long I have no idea what to do with myself now. I suppose I'll go to Disneyland. Literally. We're not going to let this interuppt our already made plans so we're still leaving for Disneyland tomorrow (thanks heavens I already paid for that) and then we'll still go to AZ and perhaps we'll extend our trip by a couple of days because why not? And then I'll have to come home and face reality. Perhaps I'll defy the like 13% unemployment rate that Fresno has right now and land a job right away. We'll just have to see. Please keep us in your prayers.
